Has Anyone Used High Dose Vitamin D3 ?
Hello everyone, I have just read a really interesting Kindle E-book (a free one!) written by someone (I think) called M. Azziz. Anyone on Thyroxin (T4 only) who got pregnant with tamoxifen (used for fertility not breast cancer)?
Two months after birth of my little one I was (finally) diagnosed with auto-immune thyroid (although I have been suggesting this to the gp for years given I had antibodies and my brother has the same condition). Been trying to conceive number 2 for more than 18 months...seeing by a great NHS (yes!) gyn

Vitamin D
Another article I've nicked, this time from Natural News. I consider Vitamin D to be important in my drug regime, mainly in my defence against respiratory infections. I take vit D3 every day in tablet form instead of as part of a multivitamin tablet or capsule. Multivitamins contain trace metals that

Vitamin D and Endocrinologist - I'm speechless!
I have been struggling with autoimmune thyroiditis for 6 years and am currently on 150mcg a day of Eltroxin. I was feeling so unwell that, in the end, I went to see a private endocrinologist. My vitamin D level is 29.7 (<30) - tested by doctor, and so the endo gave me 6 days of 50,000 iu Cholecalciferol

Seen Endo today - all set for another year
Hubby had day off and even though we had snow we drove to Sheffield. It takes an hour and a half to get there and it was not only quieter on the M1 but the hospital was too. I showed "the man" my blood test results TSH <0.01, Free T4 23.9 (9-19), Free T3 5.4 (2.6-5.7) and my vitamin D came back at

Is this as good as it gets?
I am new to this site and this is my first question. In 2008 I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. The internist prescribed Levothyroxine for me, which I still use. I am female, early 40's and vegetarian for more than 30 years. I am now using 175mg of Levothyroxine a day. I take this in the morning

Could Crampex help with myofascial pain?
Apologies if this is a really silly question! I happened to see these tablets in Boots. They are actually for people whose calves cramp during the night, and contain magnesium, vitamin D3, and nicotinic acid. Nicotinic acid was in chillblain tablets that Boots used to sell years ago. Magnesium, of

Help understanding blood results please...B12, Folate, Ferritin etc.
I have just had my blood results back and have been told that I need to have a Parathyroid Hormone test and then begin taking Colecalciferol. I am currently on 100mcg Levo and am experiencing lots of symproms such as fatigue, extreme dry skin, mental 'fog' and irregular menstrual cycle. My GP does

Feeling rubbish
Since joining this forum I realise I have had hypo symptoms since 2008. My gp refuses to ttreat me for hypo as all my test results have come back within range (although all borderline) despite my long list of symptoms. I am feeling particularly sorry for my self just now over something silly. All

Any info on use of K2 & Apixaban?
I am taking Apixaban (Eliquis 2) for the last 12 weeks as a blood thinner as I have AF.I also have Osteoporosis and take Calcichew D3 Forte. I have read that K2 supplement is a great help for the uptake of the calcium into the bone so I am about to start to use it. I have been informed that K2 seemingly
