Been prescribed ferrous fumarate and vitamin d
I've managed to persuade the duty GP at my surgery that the results of my recent French blood tests are something to be at least mildly concerned about: ferritin 4 and vitamin d 17. He really didn't seem that worried by either. Anyhow, he's prescribed ferrous fumarate 305 mg per day for 30 days and

Has anyone taking vitamin D3, linked vitamin D3 to having 'Hypo's' with Type 2 Diabetes please ?
Apologies this is not Thyroid related, but I feel this is the best HU site to ask my questions on as many members on here are aware of vitamin D3, many on here also might take it and many on here might also have Diabetes Type 2. * Has anyone or someone you know with Type 2 Diabetes and taking vitamin

Mental health or thyroid issues?
Hi all - apologies for the length but I hope you can help. I was diagnosed in August 2013 with an underactive thyroid following the birth of my son. I had put on 4 stone in my pregnancy that I just couldn't shift no matter what I did and was incredibly anxious/down and lethargic with a lot of head fuzz

Feeling better but the weight/bloating just will not shift - will I always be fat now??
I'm a year in to diagnosis and treatment now and have to say, I am feeling so much better. The last 6 weeks have been the best for me since diagnosis of hypothyroidism. I've achieved this by taking: 125mg Levo 10mg T3 Ferrous sulphate 3 times a day for my ferritin deficiency I take my iron tablets

Swimming with lupus
Hi. I am feeling a little bit adventurous and I will like to take up swimming. I did not learn to swim when I was young and I would like to start now. The thing is, I know most public pools are treated with chlorine. So, does chlorine have any effect on us? Furthermore, I learned that some pools uses
