Prednisone Tapering
I am trying to taper from 2.5 mg Prednisolone and as advised cut 2.5mg in half and added 1 to get 2.25mg. I am tapering very slowly in the hope of getting to zero. I’ve been on 2.25mg for 3 days and today had a bit of headache and a few aches but nothing that I couldn’t tolerate. Found this info

Is infrared therapy helpful for pmr?
I have recently been diagnosed with fairly severe osteoarthritis in my knee and also pmr. Some research suggests infrared therapy is helpful in relieving arthritis pain. Has anyone used it to help pmr pain and stiffness? I am thinking of buying an infrared lamp. Thanks.

Hey All, I’m writing here as I know your support is amazing and I always feel better after hearing responses! I started running about 3 years ago when my mental health deteriorated. I never thought I would be a runner. I now run 3-4 times a week and do 5k each time. My average is around 35 minutes a

does anyone else use adult nappies?
I am used to coping with that, However, over the last coupe of years I have had more nighttime

. The Tena pants are no good for that. They are meant for urinary incontinence and leak faecal matter if you are not careful, ie like when I am asleep and move about.

How to tell if child is disimpacted?
Hello I would be so grateful for any advice. My 9 year old daughter had an x Ray just over a week ago that showed severe constipation and she has been on four senna a night plus we are now on day 5 of 12 sachets of movicol. Her tummy still hurts and she hasn’t reached the “rusty water” stage yet. Do

Anyone eating Imodium like me?
Anyone eating Imodium like pez to get control of watery/oily bowel movements? I consume 4 to 6 daily and am never constipated. I’ve had a colonoscopy, dr says nothing wrong at that end. Let’s run more test that cost more money. I said no and started taking Imodium then.

NK cell treatment & immune conditions
So after our 6th failed implantation my doctor is now considering looking into whether I have an issue with NK cells. My levels were slightly raised before our last transfer but it was assumed that was linked to my chronic endometritis, which was treated with antibiotics before we transferred. After

SENSITIVE- 9 week scan on DCDA twin pregnancy reveals only one heartbeat and deceased 8 week old foetus
Today I am heartbroken 💔. On February the 2nd I had a FET (donor egg!) to create a sibling for our beautiful 3 year old daughter. At our six week scan we were astonished to learn that the egg had split and we had two tiny babies with flickering heart beats. Once we had peeled ourselves off the floor
