Endo pain
Hi, I'm new to all of this. I've been suffering with period pains since I started my periods at 13/14 and I'm 21 at the minute. Because of the lockdown I can't have the laparoscopy to see what's going on inside so I've been started on the injection (first jab is next week) to try and help stop my periods

Period pain after EC - so painful?!
Hi ladies, My period finally arrived two weeks after EC (freeze-all cycle) and it is agony!! My period has always been painful, but this is something else! Stabbing pains, painkillers won't kick in... Has anyone else had a really painful period after egg collection? Thank you xx

Help - does this sound like endometriosis? Should I get it checked? Under 20 yrs old, completely unsure.
(Edit: first of all the support and kindness I have received on this is just overwhelming and I am so so grateful and appreciative for all the advice and positivity. Thank you. You are some of the bravest, strongest and most supportive women I have ever had the fortune to come across. Also lots of comments

Advice on dealing with endo symptoms and uncertainty about laparoscopy
Hi everyone, I would like some advise please on your endo symptoms. Mine started last year after a bad period accompanied by a water infection. I think I may have always had endo to some degree as I have always suffered terribly with period pain, but since having my daughter in 2017 my periods went downhill

Irregular Periods
I came off the injection 9 months ago and my period returned in December. I have just ordered a basal thermometer to see if I can work it out from there. Has

Period problems due to IUD removal?
Hi all, My periods have always been regular (30 day cycle) for the past 10 years. After deciding the copper coil side effects weren't worth it, I decided to get it removed after 7/8 months in a clinic in January. According to my period tracker, this would have been a day before ovulation. My period

Rectal/anal pain during period
Hi! I wonder if severe rectal pain during periods can be a sign I have endometriosis? When I am about to have my period, I get like a constant shooting/stabbing pain on my rectal/anal region that it's hard for me to sit, and I notice it aggravates my hemorrhoid as well. I am getting worried as the pain

Early period? Bleeding - worried
May just be being a bit weird, so apologies if you think I'm being crazy! I'm 36 and been diagnosed with endo just under 3 years ago, had two laps to excise it, with the latest in July 2018. Not on any hormones, not planning or preventing, just seeing what happens naturally. Well nothing so far which

Use both copper IUD and pill/Depo?
So I've had a copper IUD for over a year, and it's made my periods a lot longer (I spot for a week, then have a period for a week, so I'm spending over half my life bleeding). I'm interested in seeing if hormonal berth control will help regulate the bleeding? Is it safe to combine the copper IUD with

Bleeding with copper IUD
I got the copper IUD inserted a year ago today. For the entire year I've had really long periods (about 2-2.5 weeks long!) So for the past 12 months I've basically spent more time bleeding than not bleeding. Is this normal? I know longer/heavier periods are a common side affect, but I don't want to spend

Why has my Desogestrel Progesterone only pill suddenly become ineffective?
Hi all, I started taking the Desogestrel progesterone only pill about 3 years ago. In June stopped taking if for 4 months to give my body a break. When I wanted to become sexually active again in October and I started a new pack. Initially I had some break through bleeding, which I thought would settle

Anger, lack of sleep and PMDD
So for the last 4 months my PMS has shifted and now it presents the full list of symptoms for PMDD. So basically PMDD is worse than PMS. Below is what I found on womanās health dot gov. āPremenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) is a health problem that is similar to premenstrual syndrome (PMS) but is

Advice needed: Extremely Heavy Period
Hi all, I was advised to come off the combined pill until I have the mirena coil fitted next month. Before I came off the pill I passed a decidual cast with a heavy period. I've had one light period since then. I usually have heavy periods but now an extra super tampon is only lasting me an hour- so

Non-hormonal IUD (copper coil) and endo
Hi I'm new here. I've been looking for specific info and thought maybe someone here would know. For background, I'm 40 years old, was diagnosed with endo last winter and had a laparoscopy in the summer. I had a copper, non-hormonal IUD as birth control for a few years, till it moved out of place (which

First timer - how does a short protocol work?
From what I have researched it seems that you start taking stimulation meds on day 2 of a cycle, but can anyone with irregular or
absent
periods
tell me how the process starts if no natural cycle? Thank you.

No periods. Bowel issues. Endo?
Hi all! After seeing a gynecologist 10 years ago for long painful/heavy periods and extremely painful sex, it was suggested that I may have endometriosis. The outcome was an ultrasound that came back ok and that the painful sex was psychological. So I carried on dealing with it. 3 years ago I was put
