Mefanamic acid or cocodomol?
Hi, just finished my period and having endo pains! Could this be due to the time of ovulation? I was recently prescribed mefanamic acid and tranexamic acid. So I took the tranexamic acid whilst on my period which reduced my heavy bleed (thank goodness, as I've been iron anaemic and need transfusions

PMS after laparoscopy
Hi all, I'm coming up to my second period since having a laparoscopy that removed endo, fibroids and cysts. The lap went well and I recovered physically really quickly afterwards. In the run up to my first period after it I had awful PMS - horrendous moods, crying at the drop of a hat, stupid fights

Tranexamic Acid & Mefanamic Acid
I have been prescribed both for heavy periods and suspected endo! Doctor told me to start both as soon as bleeding starts! She advised the tranexamic is to reduce the bleeding, however my heaviest days are days 1-3. Surely day 1 im still going to be so heavy as the tablets won't have enough time to get

Hi everyone, this is the first time I’ve written on a forum, I just really need some reassurance that the dr is not giving me.
I’ve had my copper coil for almost 10 years now. I’m trying to book it on for removal to start trying for a family, it is really difficult to get it booked in the current COVID situation. My periods have always been heavier and a little painful on the IUD but I’ve kind of gotten used to it! However recently

Dizzy / faint feeling
Hello, I have really heavy periods, especially days 1 and 2 of my period. I've noticed the last 4 months that by day 4 I feel so dizzy, shaky and faint. To the point where I feel sick. I've now had a head ache for 2 days too. Does anyone else have this? Is it due to my heavy periods? Where I've had

Heavy bleeding and Progesterone?
Ladies, I'd really appreciate your experiences/input. I've bled heavily (very heavy period flow) 7 days post 5 day transfer twice. These were fresh transfers and we asked whether our NHS consultant could arrange for progesterone testing on the day of transfer. He explained this isn't something the NHS

Considering IVF with sperm donor as partner doesn't want children
He's a musician (as am I), and has ambitious plans to do extraordinary things that would involve him being away for long
periods
of time. He doesn't want to be an
absent
or half-decent parent - he would want to do it full time.

Endometriosis????
So I’m hitting a brick wall and I’m so frustrated! I have every single symptom of endometriosis and they seem to be getting worse my symptoms are... -painful periods since the age of 13 - excessive bleeding -long period -occasional painful sex -constipation (diarrhea on actual period) -debilitating

Periods
Hi Since I got my periods back a few years ago they have made me so poorly . I have balance problems, migraines and then I get a nagging pain on my right hand side that is always at the end of my period. My periods are on time or a few days early but honestly I have a week and half where I’m okay then

Endo, hormones, & PMS
Hi everyone, I’ve been struggling with emotional PMS recently. I’m mid cycle, so still a few weeks from my period, but it’s like the PMS hormones have hit early. My energy’s gone, my mood is all over the place ( I cried for over an hour with no trigger or cause, go figure), and the bloating/ water retention

Am I giving a wrong self diagnosis or is this a genuine cause for concern?
Hi, I’ve always had really heavy, irregular and long periods that causes pain to the point where I am nearly passing out, but recently this has worsened. I have had an IUD put in which I know can cause heavier, longer and more painful periods, however I had this inserted a year and a half ago and I am

I’m having 2 periods a month (1 period approximately every 20 days) and bleeding for 10+ days each time
It’s as it says above. This has been happening since I was 16 and came off the implant. It stopped briefly when I went on the combined pill, but is happening again now I’m on a copper IUD

Endo & periods.
Hello, Just wondering if anybody had light and short periods, despite having endometriosis????? My periods are fairly light and only last around 4 days, this really makes me question my endo diagnosis. TIA

Combined Pill
I've been on the combined pill for four months and my withdrawal bleed went from the original 4 days, to one, and now to none at all. I've been taking my pill correctly and had taken tests a few times to double check to see if I'm pregnant, but I'm not.

I’m on the combined pill and i have heavy regular bleeding in the pill free week. Does withdrawal bleeding mean I am not pregnant? It’s heavy
understanding if withdrawal bleeding means you are not pregnant(if my bleeding is regular and heavy like a period)
