Contraceptive Implant

Hi All,

I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 15 (I'm now 23) and have been on and off the combined pill to help with the symptoms. I suffer from weight gain, excess hair and absent periods. I would to like to try the implant as contraception as I sometimes forget to take the pill or take it late. Has anyone tried the implant to mange symptoms of PCOS? I heard that for some it can make you gain weight has anyone experienced this?

The implant is not good from a pcos point of view and I have heard people say their symptoms have got even worse. I would consider the hormonal coil as this is similar to the combined pill so should keep your pcos symptoms more in check.
