Triple Therapy
I started with Lupron+
Abiraterone
+ Docetaxel. As I mentioned before elevated liver enzymes caused MO to place me on an
Abiraterone
vacation after cycle 1 of Docetaxel. Docetaxel was reduced to 3/4 dosage.

Another Cialis Question
After some ups and downs with his liver values, he is currently taking Orgovyx,
Abiraterone
, and Prednisone. PSA and T are undetectable, and he is doing as well as can be expected. Now, my husband is in “cruise control” mode (his MO’s words).

Orgyvux(relugolix) and Zytiga(abiraterone)
I have a question from one of my support group members. They are currently on Orgyvux. Doc wants to add Zytiga to their treatment. Will the ADT side effects be the same with the addition of Zytiga, or will they become worse? Seems like the side effects would be worse, if T is driven to a lower level

Need Help with Next Gen ADT
Otherwise ZYTIGA® (
abiraterone
acetate) - his less preferred. I looked at side effects of both and see little to no difference other that
abiraterone
lists Infected nose, sinuses, or throat (cold) as a common side effect.

Survival outcomes and prognostic factors for first-line abiraterone acetate or enzalutamide in patients with metastatic CRPC
Patients with mCRPC who received first-line ARATs had better survival if they had a PSA nadir≦2 ng/mL or a TTN≧7 months. Further study is needed to determine if an early switch in therapy for those in whom neither is achieved may impact OS. https://bmccancer.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s12885

Leg Pain - 4th Week on Lupron
Hi Friends, I'm on 4th week of ADT (Lupron+
Abiraterone
). Yesterday I started feeling right upper leg pain in the quads area. I'm not sure whether it's bone or muscle pain. But it's getting worse. I can barely walk. At first I was thinking may be I strained it.

Off Abiraterone ?
When I started chemo
Abiraterone
was discontinued. A recent post suggested that lowering T is even more important if castrate resistant. So why was
Abiraterone
discontinued?

Abiraterone vs Docetaxel
I bring up the metastatic burden, because I could not find a clinical trial where ADT+AAP (
Abiraterone
+Prednisone) did not offer a superior outcome to ADT+D (Docetaxel) in 70+ year old patients with a low metastatic burden. When QOL is factored into the equation, the choice seems overwhelming.

Had been on

Acetate (AA) along with Lupron and Prednisone. My PSA dropped to 0.1 until recently I became castrate resistant. I was advised by my team at MD Anderson that my cancer was a strong variant type.
