How do I update my bio?
My MO said don't worry about my rising testosterone, which is now up to 320 ng/dl; he said just keep an eye on my PSA, and if it goes up to 0.20, then we'll consider going back on ADT (
abiraterone
and 3-month Lupron shots). Thanks in advance.

Need help to fight fatigue from Radium 223
Had 6 cycles of Chemo and then
Abiraterone
for 18+ months until it stopped being effective. Currently part of trial with Radium 223. Had 4 cycles already and 2 more to go. After this will likely have to switch to Enzalutamide and ADT.

Radiation after triple therapy?
Finished triple therapy (6 cycles 85% docetaxel + 250mg
Abiraterone
with yogurt + 10mg Prednisone w/yogurt + Lupron (3 month) + XGeve monthly. After 3rd cycle, a CT scan identified a new 3rd bone lesion (L1). Original bone scan identified lesion on Pelvis and C4.

Never get tired of annoucing I am STILL undetectable
I have had somewhat mor energy since we scaled back my
Abiraterone
dosage to 500 mg a day instead of 1,000 mg. Dr Tanya Dorff says stay the course, no additional combination drugs or trials for me. She says I am doing remarkably well.

Severe cramps and ADT
Just wonder if anyone else found this connection between
Abiraterone
, chocolate and severe cramps? (or other foods that trigger the cramps)

Supplements and self-care
I then added
abiraterone
and prednisone which has brought my PSA down to 1.4 in July and my last test this month it went up to 2.0 but I have read there can be a margin of error in the PSA test so I’m not too worried.

Sudden Bone pain
I am on
Abiraterone
and prednisolone, plus hydoxicarbamide and clopidogrel for the ET. PSA is <0.01. I have and still get hot flushes, but recently I get pain in my bones starting normally in calves and and forearms and then spreading to chest and rest of body.

Minimum PSA for GA-68 PSMA Scan
I have been on Eligard and
abiraterone
for five years and my PSA has always been <.05 ng/ml and my last test came back .05 ng/ml with all PSA tests performed at the same lab. My new oncologist wants me to have a GA-68 PSMA scan which seems premature on two levels.

Updated treatment plan for progressing MCRPC
I am still taking
abiraterone
and dexamethasone and it is not working, PSA has been climbing. My Question is, should I switch the
abiraterone
for enzalutamide. There is some evidence for switching these drugs if one is no longer working. Apparently the dexamethasone is not good for bone health.

More on abiraterone prices
My basic question is: Have some of you stopped buying
abiraterone
(generic Zytiga) through your Medicare Part D insurance provider and started buying
abiraterone
through one of the organizations like Good Rx or Cost Plus (Mark Cuban Co.)? Here, for example, is my situation.

I fired my oncologist
Almost a year ago I had radiation and started Lupron, Prednesone, and
Abiraterone
which immediately brought my PSA and T levels to undetectable. I also enrolled in a clinical trial of an experimental immunotherapy drug SD-101 along with infusions of Keytruda (pembrolizumab).

A List for Newly Diagnosed that My Wife did in 2022 please add to list if anything is missed or wrong or needs updating. TIA
- These include: * ADT, Androgen Deprivation Therapy, which works by decreasing testosterone levels and slowing cancer growth * Hormonal therapies such as
abiraterone
and enzalutamide * Chemotherapy, such as Docetaxel Infusion Chemotherapy is often used after the body stops responding to hormone

[PMC free article] [PubMed] [CrossRef] [Google Scholar) For me right now with a PSA of 10 and starting on 20%
abiraterone
, how far should I push my PSA level down? Any and all opinions welcome. Thanks and best wishes to all.

Switching from prednisone to dexamethasone with abiraterone
Obviously, I'd like to continue
abiraterone
as long as it's working.
