Orgyvux(relugolix) and Zytiga(abiraterone)

I have a question from one of my support group members. They are currently on Orgyvux. Doc wants to add Zytiga to their treatment. Will the ADT side effects be the same with the addition of Zytiga, or will they become worse? Seems like the side effects would be worse, if T is driven to a lower level. Any experience on this one?

Most of the side effects are due to ADT, but abiraterone does add to them.

How about the Prednisone? I assume it has its own set; is that correct?

It shouldn't have any side effects. It is just a replacement dose for lost cortisol. It only has side effects if you don't take enough.

My husband is on both (and prednisone, which gets added when you start Abiraterone). He did not notice any additional side effects when starting the abi, which happened about 4 months after the Orgovyx.

For me it was more weight gain and fatigue and a pain in the rear from my wallet being raided!...yet it helped keep the beast at rest

I didn't notice any difference when Abi was added.
