Another week goes by....

At last it would seem that my body is getting used to the lack of chemicals and I am now able to get to sleep and have quality sleep :) On the downside for the last 5 days I have had a strange almost salty taste in my mouth and I have no idea if this is related to stopping smoking but that is what I have put it down to.

I am still feeling positive about never quitting on quitting but I have been having quite strong cravings on a morning.

Good luck everyone!

Well done tiggs, another week done and glad you’re getting quality sleep now. It makes such a difference to your wellbeing👍🏼

Our taste buds have been smoked like kippers from all those cigs and now they’re recovering, they’re more likely to be sensitive to taste😩 This too shall pass😉

Keep that positive attitude going and keep fighting those cravings coz you’re doing a great job🚭✅xx

Thank you, I don't remember what my mouth should taste like as I smoked for so long so maybe this is normal :)

I now have nearly 3 months in and I also had strange almost tobaccoey taste and had sore throat for 2 of those months but now things are quieter and except for not having full wind yet I am feeling and looking better. Hang in there, it is the one most important thing we can do for our health. Reward yourself when u reach a milestone , you so deserve it. God Bless and keep up the good work. Scaredy
