So glad I dont smoke or it would have cost me a fortune in ciggies today.
As I said earlier I planned on catching up with ironing.
So first of all went to shops with hubby he wanted some new shoes.
We no longer have a car , so stood waiting for the bus. Yep 20 minutes late
Did the shopping . went back home and going to make some lunch for myself and hubby. Doorbell goes. Friend called in to see me. Kettle on again sandwiches and biscuits and more cups of tea. 1 1/2 hours later friend goes home. π
Wash up. Do ironing at last. .π Said to hubby I had a pain near my gum. π£
Had a look and yep a septic abcess π«
Called dentist π· caught another (late again) bus. Dentist confirmed abcess.
Got antibiotics. Then an appointment for a week on Friday for a root canal procedure. for 1 1/2 hours) not a happy bunny. xx

Ahhhh jilly thatβs a right humdinger of a day (except friend popping round). Well I hope those meds kick in soon hun, in the meantime itβs gargling with warm salt water for you!
Maybe think about a nice treat for yourself after youβve recovered from the root canal π
Well its almost midnight and I think I am turning into a pumpkin.
I am ready for bed. brushed teeth , salt gargle although I am rubbish at gargling.π€’ now comes the hard part. I could never sleep on my back. If I sleep on my left side my arthritis in my shoulder plays up. If I sleep on my right side my flippin abscess and tooth hurts. Then of course I have my hubby snoring so roll on morning. xxxxπ
hi Jillygirl hope your mouth is better. I remember when I had neuralgia I sat wit my hands on my face all day every day & one day it was so painful I kept banging my head against the wall to try & relieve it until finally I had to realise I had to have the tooth out
poor thing you...There is a Slovak saying what wld loosely translate near enough:"It's like a bus, 3 come at once.' like your catalogue of misfortune....
