Well 2 wks in may not seem like much but it's all mine :-) have had a couple of ups and downs but on the whole feeling pretty good :-D I don't feel as stressed as I did when I was smoking I seem to let things pass even though I have a very testing teenager >:) at the moment which I'm thinking of selling :-)

Still early days I know so will definitely stay on guard and watch out for Mr nic :-P happy smoke free day to you all :-) x

Hi ciggygonney,

You are doing brilliantly.. I am not in the market for a teenager...I have my teenage granddaughter at the moment and love it cos i can send her home again :) :) :)

I have said this often - I have suffered with self managed anxiety my entire life and since quitting almost 2 years ago, I have a calmness about me that i never had as a smoker, i also find i am a lot more tolerant etc. I did in the early part of my quit have an increased anxiety but that passed pretty quickly :) :)

Keep up the great quit you have going :) :)

Thanks glo and yes I have heard smoking causes stress which I always found quite bizarre because lighting up is the first thing I would do if I felt stressed.

As far as my son goes I wouldn't put him on anybody luckily my other son is very supportive :-)

Hey CG - 2 weeks is awesome!!! I found the first two weeks to physically the most demanding, and from there felt it was more a battle of the mind. So you should pat yourself on the back even more so with a teenager in the house, with the money saved from quitting the sale of the teenager you should treat yourself to a nice holiday 😉

Thanks tactic Will keep that in mind and that would be 2 teenagers twins lucky for me they are completely different and I think my craziness helps me a little to more or less keep them in line. I call them the devil and the angel :-)

2 weeks👏👏👏👏🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 You're in the hardest month😡 Awesome quit... I was so physically sick that first month... I'd hate to think of having to start over again.... I just don't take that 1st drag..... 1 puff =1 pack.... Good going Ciggy👍🏻

Thanks Arianna no intentions of taking that first puff no matter how hard it gets :-) determined this time round :-)
