What a great picture, love it! I echo jillygirls welcome to all newbies, together we can all do this some fabulous support on this site, well off now to get my second cup of tea then off to the shops to get some new clothes for my jollies next weekend, cannot wait and all possible because of stopping smoking, Tenerife here I come, have to say the insurance premium because of my heart attack was quite ridiculous thankfully British heart foundation found a better insurance company they can and do rip people off for pre existing conditions big difference from £900 to £61 isn't it well done now but bear in mind if anyone has a pre existing condition, the insurance company I was recommended to is miaonline if anyone is interested x x x

Morning Jilly and everyone, The sun trying to come out here, think it will soon. I am on a new challenge today I'm going to talk to my e-cig and say NO to it as I go to pick it up, this was Monkeys suggestion to someone here, should be fun, wish me luck !

I used to do that with a packet of 6 cigarettes I had in a drawer. If I got a craving I used to open the drawer and shout NO! I did take pleasure in destroying them when the time came.

Hey there folks,

busy morning, our shopping (groceries) then took my mum shopping (groceries) and in half an hour mum in laws shopping (Garden Centre for compost or something !!) after that a cup of tea and a lie down in a darkened room I think !!! Bit Grey and cold up here at the moment but think tomorrow is meant to be better. Kaprin didn't realise your hols were so soon, you LUCKY thing, warm sun and blue skies, how coool would that be at the moment. Anyway, being shouted at to get a move on so on with the lip gloss and out we go (again!!) Hugs to all, Have a Happy and smoke free Saturday Helen x

Hi everyone, grey and over cast but I am back up in my motherland of Cumbria for the weekend. Last bit of comfort from friends before I am back at work on Monday! Not looking forward to that much. Home life is extremely emotional and stressful, but still not smoked... My future is unclear but I know one thing, whatever it is, I am not a smoker in it x

Just put me down to carry the suitcases, a week in the sun sounds like just what I need at the moment.Al,how GOOD is it to see you again,your presence has been sorely missed.Pete,words just fail at your kindness and consideration for EVERYONE on here you''re really one heck of a bloke.I managed to superglue my fingers and part of my hand,it's a long story involving a China elephant & a cat called Greedy Benny,have spent half of the afternoon huddled over a vat of Nail polish remover to get the bloomin stuff off. This is the first chance I've had to bob on here today sorry. I've had a houseful of little people who arrived a lot earlier than expected today! One large lasagne, a huge pan of scouse, Lego building, DVD watching, dog walking and a couple of games later, 3 out of 4 kids are now asleep..... this is one Aunty who will sleep very easily tonight!

BethJayne, know what you mean about being busy at work - I've hardly been office based lately! Hope your mum is better soon

Helen, I saw that amazing sunset too - beautiful You have an amazing holiday to look forward to in September, I'll be asking for room in your case then as Kaprin's seems to be filling up rather fast now Glad your appointment went well and I reckon you shoud be given a job as an advisor at the hospital - encouraging everyone on to 'stop before your op' - you'd be fab

Pete, how's it going? You seem to be doing really well, I guess you already know how proud we all are of you - 'never giving up giving up' should be your motto, a true winner through and through, someone who has a huge heart too and gives so much time and advice to each of our members. We luvz ya we do

Mrssunnyside, you keep on having them conversations with your e-cig and keep us posted how you get on The big thing i would say to e-cig users is to just try and use them as you feel you need to rather than have them in your hand all the time. This is only because many users 'smoke' them at times when they wouldn't even usually smoke a cigarette, so end up smoking more really. If you could say 'no', then this is a good start to moving onto the next part of your smokefree journey
