When did you guys start telling others you are/have quit? I'm too scared to tell most people because I don't want to be asked continually how it's going. On on the other hand the more people who know, the more I'd be scared of giving in to old habits sand letting them down.

Hi rainbow, I used to say I dont smoke nearly straight away. It made me feel good and like you say you feel commited to stop then.

I did tell people about my quitting but after a short time they don't bother asking how its going which can be hurtful in a way

Getting so I don't need so much nrt

I told people straight away again felt good and knew I had to keep going once I told them worked for me, found smoker friends would not smoke when I was around which was really thoughtful
