On the 2nd August went for a ultrasound after I had a post menopausal bleed. I was told that this wouldn't hurt and not to be concerned. Well it did hurt, I think the sonographer was a bit heavy handed, put it this way he would have given Mary Berry's Kitchen Aid a run for their money. I left feeling very crampy and sore, but thought it was normal. The next morning I was in so much pain, it felt like severe period pain, but obviously it wasn't. I feel like I've had every test under the sun and my GPs have admitted that they don't know what's wrong. I can't help but think that when I had the ultrasound, he's unintentionally done something to me, it would be too much of a coincidence. Has anyone had the same experience, or can give me any tips/advice? I'm currently taking Amitriptyline and Naproxen to try and keep the pain manageable xx

PELVIC PAIN AFTER TRANSVAGINAL ULTRASOUND
Yes I have experienced heavy handed with NHS,also been shouted out, and wrongly put in the covid ward,,all I got was it was a mistake and they put measures in so it wouldn’t happened again, every time I go for ultra scan, they turn the screen round so I can’t see it,I really don’t know, consultant says one thing another will say another thing and another will say there isn’t anything wrong.
Hi, I went for a transvanginal Monday and it was also slightly painful, I left with terrible cramps and back aches.I have been having menopause bleeding since July and they’re struggling to find the issue. I’ve got fibroids and thickening of the womb lining, but said it’s not that! If you have fibroid’s maybe they were touched and aggravated! Did they tell you what they could see ( if anything) when you had the scan? I was told what they could see at the time, but not size etc…. If you weren’t told, ask! If not, go back and ask for a scan on your stomach as opposed to transvanginal. Sorry I’ve not been more helpful. Hopefully you get sorted, but keep going back. Ask to be referred to the gynaecologist.
Sorry to hear that. Mine started after gallstones were removed. Weird
I had this scan and was OK with no after effects so I'd definitely get that checked out. Some professional are useless.
It could be. My sister had a similar case. If it is a neuropathy I will give you the contact of the medical team that saved her life, I am not kidding. This information is GOLD! Took us 3 years to find out! DO not feel worried it might not be in your country. Do get in touch with them and see what they tell you, but do not give up! If it is pelvic or abdominal nerve pain they are the best!
Good luck to you!
