Long story short. Condition started two years ago, after a slight bleeding.. since I have intermittent pain and pressure in my groins and pelvis region! It starts off slight then builds up throughout the day..

I cannot walk far now, I have seen two gynaecologist and had my tubes and ovaries removed a year ago, since then my condition as become worse! One gynaecologist I have seen in January of this year now thinks its femoral hernias etc.. Im at my wits end. I cannot work and I have been off sick for 14 months now..

I have since seen a general surgeon, he sent me for a ultrasound and vaginal scan.. no detection of congestion pelvic syndrome! The radiologist did not state about hernias! Just said everything is fine, awaiting follow up appointment with the consultant..

Just wondering if anyone else has had, or have these symptoms?

Could be adhesion pain from previous surgeries. I have adhesions in pelvic area, abdomen ,bladder and bowel from previous surgeries. Pain can be debilitating. Hope you find out what is causing your pain and get a treatment that helps you.

Hi there, I completely understand how you are feeling. Since having my ovary and fallopian tube removed I have been in pain ever since. Like you I can’t walk far without an intense burning feeling in my groin and pelvis. I’ve been back to my gynaecologist many times and I’m now having pelvic physiotherapy which I’m told can be really beneficial so I’m keeping my fingers crossed. I really hope you can get some relief. I really hope every single woman on this support page can get some relief from this incredibly exhausting and frustrating condition.

Hi OMG thank you for your reply, I thought I was losing my mind and I was the only one with this condition. I also have seen various gynaecologist, the one who did my operation just left me high and dry and discharged me after surgery, even though I am still symptomatic!! The last one told me I had femoral hernias but Im still waiting for a follow up appointment with the general surgeon, I saw at a private hospital, after my scan! I was also scanned for congestive pelvic syndrome. After highlighting I may have it!!

Im just at my wits end.. I cannot work or sleep properly since this operation!

Is pelvic physio conducive?
