Hi ,I myself have been having the Prolia injections for over 5yrs,I've never had a problem with it. But I did once get in touch with the Osteoperosis society, and they were really helpful. So maybe get in touch with them.

There Helpline is. Helpline@.org.uk. Or nos.org.uk. Or the phone number is 0808 800 0035. Well worth asking.

Thank you for your advice I have been in touch with a few drs here about prolia all said they had no patient that complained of side effects but I’m on the osteoporosis website and a lot of people report dreadful side effects

But if you email the Osteoperosis Society website with all your concerns they are very good at giving you all the answers, far better than a Osteoperosis website . Some people put all there ailment down to medication side affects .So I wouldn't take to much notice. Your better off discussing it with experts. I think the more information you have, the better you'll find a solution.

My athletic American friend got it when she turned 65. She only took steroids. They made her bloat and her eyes huge but finally after three years, the pain went away completely. Yoga helped her the most.

I’m sorry you suffer this pain.

I have Polymyalgia. There is an excellent and very active group on this website. I highly recommend you should join. PMR/GCAuk.

If low dose steroids help your pain, it you could have this. All my pain disappeared in about 12 hours after the first dose. If the steroids don’t help, you are much less likely to have Polymyalgia. Low dose steroids are the only effective treatment. The disease lasts at least a couple years, 5-6 years on average, and usually goes away.
