Prolia

Anyone use both of those, Prolia and Zometa? Experiences?

I have been taking shot of Prolia and shot of methotrexate every Tuesday.i have no pain but have tender spots on my head and if does not hurt to touch. I only seem to have it in my temple are and top and back of head.. I had a mri of my head a few years ago.

I have been taking Prolia injections since 11/11/2022 and the recent result show that my bone density, lumbar region has dropped ? My Gynaecologist suggests Bonviva and advice

Also have Osteoporosis and had Prolia injections every 6 months in Australia for 6 years. Back in the UK was told 'We don't do that' so only calcium tablets. Well 6 fractures later and an inch shorter.

Had 1 Prolia in Feb 12. Had CTX done so I can start Reclast. CTX is 89. Has ANYONE had Reclast going in with a score of 89?

is P1NP supposed to be upper range on prolia, or lower range on prolia? my Mum's numbers are low. but the tests haven't been done for years, i don't think, and they were run within 3 months of prolia doses, so the ctx would be expected to be low?

I have been advised to have Prolia for my bones . I am very anxious about this due to the side effects on possible uti's of which I have had many in the past. Added to this I have so many allergies so running out of antibiotics to give me. Any advise would be appreciated, thank you

My GP has suggested the injection denosumab (Prolia,) injection every 6 months, I have done some research on this treatment, possible side effects a bit scary.

has anyone on prolia noticed any increase in muscle mass because I have no testosterone due to it not recovering after rt/ht and now have osteosarcopenia.

Has anyone who is on Prolia injections become more tired? If yes, what have you done about it?

Prolia… reclast… there seems to be controversy in taking the supplement… I thought I post here to get your feedback. I truly do not want to take any more medication. I was hoping that this would help in some degree

Now, I've taken my fourth Prolia injection (one every six months) and had a bone density workup with satisfactory results. This is the first time any supplement, prescription, or therapy has shown positive bone strength results.

Recently prescribed Prolia for Osteoporosis. Any other members having this? What side effects are they experiencing?

I take prolia shot every 3 months and a shot of methotrexate once a week. I exercise daily which was recommended by my pysiotherapist. I am doing quite well. I walk with a cane as of yet but am getting much better.

I had my second infusion of zoledronic acid on the 25th April and I must say it seems to be helping I am not getting as much back pain, I know that they don't know exactly when to stop it because it begins to make bones brittle after a time, and then it looks like prolia which seems dodgy,

I had 1 Prolia shot in Feb with many side effects. I’m going to see a Rheumatologist to Relay me off. I can’t take any Bisphosphonates because I had Gastric Bypass. I don’t know what to do. Is there anyone out there that been on Prolia and can’t take a Bisphosphonate?

Is there any report of Prolia (six month injections) exacerbating RLS?
