I have intramural multiple fibroids of size 4 cm. There is a sharp pain during my periods which sometimes remain for 7 to 10 days. I have to take pain killers to subside the pain. Also throughout the month I experience pressure in the pelvic region with sometimes lower back pain. I do not wish to go for any surgery. If required I want to opt for Laparoscopy as it is minimally invasive.
Please suggest.

I had the most amazing experience with laproscopy. I just had a 2 pound fibroid removed two weeks ago. I feel amazing. NO pain. I was 100% better in just ONE week. I was a little sore for just a few days. My procedure was robotic-assisted and I am so, so happy I did it. I feel the difference in my body with the fibroid gone, and I feel no pain from the surgery whatsoever. My incisions are still healing, but other than that, you'd never know I had surgery just two weeks ago. I'm actually mad at myself for waiting so long. Doctors always tell you that it's not "necessary" to remove fibroids. But seriously, when they affect your life, cause you pain, it's NECESSARY.
