I've had recurrent abnormal discharge with slight smell for years, i have lower pelvic pain that radiates to my lower back only around the time of ovualtion though, also deep pain during sex when im ovualting.. ive had blood tests , urine test and also tested for bv, all was normal except I had a uti.. i had antibiotics for the uti which cleared up the abnormal discharge????! But I still have the same pain during ovulation.. The dr seems to think it can't be pid and has sent me to a gyno for further testing.. could I still have pid without having it showing on my white blood cell count ?

All of your symptoms sound identical to mine, I didn't even know this was s thing until I went for a laparoscopy and the surgeon said there was no PID found. Maybe the symptoms could be caused by something else we've both not found yet!? x

I had ultrasounds and transvaginal scans like three years ago and then nothing since my lap in November because I was told it was endo til my lap was negative, then I was told I was imagining it all or it was my bowels but I'd never even heard of PID til he said there was none found x

As far as symptoms are concerned, just really swollen labia, unusual discharge, incredibly painful sex, bad pain on my right side which I was told was bowels and just internal pain that spreads into my groin and leg x

When I presented to my Dr with my symptoms he said endometritis! I then had tests and went back for my results and I asked him if endometritis was the same as pid! He then looked at my test results and asked me who told me I had endometritis, i replied you did!! He then said i didnt have it because my results were all normal???!!! Like you, i didnt know what pid was either.. i know i shouldn't have but I have googled this and everything I come across contradicts everything I've just read .. you are imagining your symptoms ? That's a bit harsh , if your symptoms are really like it's pretty hard to imagine this !!! The pain I have around ovualtion lasts for about 2 to 3 days and it hurts to even walk around !!!! The pain during sex feels like tmi but my vagina is being stabbed!!!
