Yesterday I got awarded my 4 week smoke free certificate from Quit 4 Life, for the first time I actually felt quite proud of myself. Gave up on 25th May so its actually 5 weeks tomorrow. Yesterday was my Birthday and I had a couple of glasses of wine with my dinner and felt fine. I have surgery on Wednesday which is the real reason I had to stop but by then I am 40 days smoke free.

Hi Roisin

Still not smoking, had my surgery but they have to do it again as not everything clear but OK with this. Am on 10mg patches and nothing else have tried to leave them for 2 days but get antsy and tempted so will carry on for another week or two on them. Still feel tempted at times but am determined to stick with it.

Well done to anyone taking this journey it is not easy.

Mo

Excellent HJ10HMO - just take it one day at a time with the patches, get over the surgery first then can concentrate solely on weaning off them. Keep up the great work 👏
