I'm one week smoke free today. Yesterday and today the cravings have been really intense. I have had a stressful time at work and I've had moments where I've thought "I just want to smoke" but I have managed to get through. I just wish there was a miracle cure to get rid of the cravings.

Hey Quiterjo - huge congrats on your first big milestone of 1 week, well done!
These intense cravings are perfectly normal and will ease as time goes on, I promise - just take it hour by hour and if you can on these days have an early night.

Congrats on your week! I know you feel bad as I did on day 8. It was something about day 8 that my body and mind just did not like. I got through it though and I know you will push through it. For me, after day 14 I noticed a huge improvement and when I hit day 30 I was so happy because I didn't feel like complete poop all the time. You're doing great. One day at a time, don't smoke. Cigarettes are eww!
