Hey you can succeed

I haven' t been here for awhile. Past December 12 was 4 years smoke free . Smoked one to two packs a day for 43 years and never thought I could quit. Hardest thing I ever did, lots of tears and the most determined I have ever been. Believe me that you will get to the point that it will no longer bother you to smell smoke or actually talk to someone who is smoking The struggle is worth it. I no longer get jittery because I need to smoke and I no longer have to go outside and freeze to smoke. If I did it you can. I promise you !!!! Keep coming to this site and others like it. Changed my life !

I told everyone I knew that I was quitting. They were a huge incentive to follow through. Come to sites like this for support. My name is Nancy and I tell you that you can do this!!

Before you go to sleep, rip apart any cigarettes, throw away any lighters and ashtrays. Take them out of your house. Tell yourself that you are no longer a smoker. Be prepared for frustration but understand that it's not the nicotine, it's the habit
