Hi Everyone; Just have to mark my one week anniversary with a post, to say I'm feeling so happy. I dowloaded an App I saw Monica use and it tells me how many days, how much money I've saved, how my lungs, gums, breathing, everything. So far I've saved $111 in a week! Between the App, this site and the Champix, I'm feeling strong.

The one thing I have to admit is I'm eating whatever, whenever. And I can't do that forever. I'm either buying an elliptical trainer or joining a gym right after xmas. Today I bought healthy groceries (low-carb) and just put a roast in the slow cooker ... enjoying the mindfulness that comes with quitting smoking. Have a great weekend everyone

Great job on one week! It's such a great start! Could you share the app that tells you how much money you save etc? That would be cool! Its definitely tough and up and down but it's worth it. Keep it up!!!

Personally I would just go with whatever for now. Don't add extra stress to yourself, your body over the next year will go through change so go with it. I went from smoking and being thin'ish to eating mass amounts of sweets/candy and ballooning in weight. But one thing at a time. First I kicked an addiction I had had for 30 years, then I dealt with the issues of having quit that addiction. It all takes time and it isn't easy but it is possible.
