Is it just me or has anyone else at this stage of quitting had a pretty much permanent feeling of being in some weird, surreal, timeless dream?

Absolutely. Its like being in a permanently zen-like state...until someone dares to rock the boat and the bitch from hell raises her ugly head. It is an extremely surreal experience. Congrats on 3 weeks as well by the way Gabrielle. Excellent. Good work 😁😁😁

Welcome Ariadne72 - congratulations on over 1 week smoke free, that is great, well done!

This feeling is perfectly normal and will be a combination of the champix side effects and nicotine withdrawal - below pinned post is worth a read if not already done so. Sleep disruption if any experienced can cause this but it should settle down soon. Drink lots and lots of water, plenty of fresh fruit and veg and bit of exercise every day to clear the head.

Thank you Roisin, i shall heed your advice. At the moment i am also finding that Lemon Sherbert lollipops are a good distraction during the nasty pangs. The tang takes my mind off it and gives my body something to react to 😊😊

Water in a fruit juicer bottle was my savior for the first 6 months, whatever it takes :P

Adrianne a warm welcome to our community .

Feeling sometimes forgetting things is normal after quitting with or without Chantix .

Chantix is excellent for people who is not able to quit turkey or with patches .so it’s a great solution . .enjoy freedom πŸ‘
