Went for a christmas curry (I'm in Birmingham - this is normal:p) with OH & her workmates/partners last night. OH and her best friends disappeared loads of times during the evening - I don't know if it was the no voddie (designated driver last night), not knowing many people at the do or the 'quitters cold' which I seem to have had for ever but I really really really wanted a ciggie last night - resolve was very low but did hold out - just.

It's bonkers how the craving hits at silly times - you'd think that being cold stone sober you would be alright! This quitting business is very strange indeed.
Anyway - you didn't cave so well done - and as you said, it's still just one day at a time.
Hey Dave, I would defo put it down to the no voddie, especially at this time of year Glad you didn't cave in though as you would have been gutted today if you had. And that cigarette after a lengthy break is such a disappointment, it didn't do anything for me except lead to a full-blown relapse of course. And it's the pits being back in Day 11 again counting the days again ....
So stay strong, you probably have the terrible 3's like a few others on here, but not long to go now and you will be outta there yaay
Dave, treat yourself to a voddie tonight for doing so well, at least you didn't have to freeze your ar*se off and then stink.....defo a voddie in order
Im so proud of you Dave, look wht happened to me and how I felt. Whenever you have that urge remember me and my anger and tantrum at having just that one, you wont do it, I know you wont.
Well done Dave....it is odd how those urges seem so strong when you haven't thought of one for ages. We have to be extra vigilant at this point in the quit cos the niicodemon employs stealth tactics. Strap those infra-red googles on and blow the little shit up.
