yippee............ah whatever.

Feeling down today............ not smoking related.

Did you ever have a day where your just cruising along everything is going great in fact it couldn't be any better? Then the stupid phone rings and everything gets thrown in the air and your just not sure how bad things are or where things are going to land.

That was my day yesterday and will continue today.

With the help of a good friend here yesterday I stayed smoke free last night.

Let’s see what today brings

Morning Sparky, you are now into week 6 and doing great, imagine if you had still been smoking would the phone have not rung and the news or info been different, you and I both know that you smoking wouldn’t have made any difference the news would have been the same and smoking wouldn’t have made it any easier to bear would it.

I found that I had to deal with whatever was thrown at me and I dealt with it straight away instead of putting it off till I had had a smoke or 2 so the problem was kept clearer in my mind and seem not half so bad.

Nothing no matter how bad is made better with a smoke so hang in there and keep being a quitter.

Hi Sparky,

how are you feeling today?

36 days is briliiant, a real inspiration to me (i am now on day 16). Jam is right, if you smoked, it wouldnt make the slightest bit of difference. You would still have had the news, you would still have felt the emotions after hearing the news..smoking wouldnt have changed anything, apart from the fact that you would have felt WORSE for caving in!!

Hope you are feeling better?

I have set a big goal for myself today----------- I promised myself that I won't smoke until 3:00. At 3:00 I will then review the situation and decide if I will make a new goal or go back to posting at the day one level......... How is that for setting such high standards...... Sorry everyone I think my igniter got wet or somthing, kinda lost my spark for today.

Hi Sparky,

I am hoping that you are making a new goal and wont be posting on day 1 again. HOw long have you quit for?

Is there anything you can do that will make you feel a bit better, or is it just a case of dealing with the emotions?

Stay strong.x.
