Slipped up, new quit 7th April

Hi all

Firstly thanks for all your help during my 3 day quit.

I'm ashamed to say I slipped up on the NRT - didn't really feel 'right' using NRT. Luckily got to see the nurse yesterday who prescribed Champix so have started taking them and plan to quit 7th April. Did have some bad side effects last time I tried it but am determined it WILL work this time.

Really annoyed with myself but onwards and upwards - can't turn back the clock.....can I still pop in here and see how people are going or am I banished until 7th April???

Thanks again, Jane

Aww. Chin up, Jane, and do stick around. With any luck, some of the positive vibe will rub off on you and you'll be ready ahead of schedule.

I just caught a glimpse of myself naked while coming out of the shower. I have got to stop using chocolate as a coping mechanism, and I NEED a gym!

I smoked my last cigarette 2 Weeks, 2 Days, 21 hours and 34 minutes ago. I have £138.61 that I haven't spent on 591 cigarettes and saved 2 Days, 1 hour and 15 minutes of my life.

Thanks guys

I think I will stick around - have been reading a lot of the experiences on here and they are so enlightening!

Here's to being free forever, one day at a time.......
