breathless from Nicolette quickmist

hello, I’ve just joined this cause I’m curious

I started using quickmist Few months back and to be honest I use it a lot , some times I’m using like 6 sprays a hour.

I’m starting to notice that my breathing is getting bad and when I’m exercising I’m getting out of breath very very quickly which is causing me dizziness.

Has anyone else experienced this? Because if it is the spray then it’s going straight in the bin, but I need to know weather it’s causing it or not

hi , I don’t know if Quickmist causes breathlessness but for me it was so incredibly addictive that I used it more and more often until I was spraying so often it made me nauseated but I still couldn’t stop.

After two years on Quickmist went cold turkey and it’s the best decision I have made. Quickmist got me off the cigarettes and vapes but the addiction to the quickmist was physically worse. However I am now totally nicotine free for about three years now so looking back I do think the Quickmist helped break the cigarettes and vape addiction and for that purpose it was great for me. But I found it to be very very difficult to stop the addiction to Quickmist itself. However, I did! And it can be done! And life is superb without nicotine in it!! Good luck on your journey. :-)

I’m recently coming off it . To me I had side effects that I never knew was related to it . Anxiety and breathlessness was one of them . Coming off it on day 3 I was like a possessed demon . I was spraying about the same as you . On one school run I sprayed it four times and wondered would I actually stop 4 times in a 25 minute journey and smoke ? Absolutely not !! I’ve wasted 13 years on this spray . I’ve gone onto the Nicolette lozenges which take ages to chew but I’d rather have 6 of them then pay for a subscription of them sprays ! I personally think they should be banned . Good luck with your journey

That was the biggest side effect for me - anxiety and a kind of regular deep breathing which I now think could be what you mean by breathlessness.

Ironically I thought the Quickmist was relieving my anxiety but it was causing it. And wow it was bad!

So glad to be off that awful Quickmist drug.

I thought it was just me, having a bit of an addictive nature, I’m relieved in some way that it’s a thing. I’ve spent a fortune on quickmist, I know it’s going to hard, but this time I don’t want to have to use anything to give this up!

I keep telling myself well, it’s better than smoking, is it? mmm

The stuff is evil - I keep throwing away in the bushes and then find myself going thru the bushes to find it again 1 hour later. :(

Hi RickyI am also breathless from using the spray, even walking up the stairs! I have been using the spray for years and wish I could stop, I just dont seem to be able to and really need some advice.

I know how you feel I wish I could too, it’s so hard, I panic if I get low, everyone says why are you still using that. I am trying to do one spray only and leaving it longer between, started today doing that and set my phone alarm to half hourly intervals. Someone mentioned doing that in an earlier post.
