Looking for people with Vortioxetine (Brintellix) experience

I have been on Lexapro (Escitalopram) for 4 years and am looking to switch or add Brintellix to my routine.

I have searched the forum for posts with this medication, however the reviews weren’t very elaborate and most of them are years old. Would really appreciate hearing from people who have had long term experience with this medication.

Thank you!

I have just been put on this by my psychiatrist who says it’s a newer antidepressant. I am very sensitive to antidepressants so hopefully this one will help.

Good luck and hope all goes well! I’ve read good things about it as well.. I might give it a try soon.

Hi heathkir1, I hope you’ve been well. Was wondering if you would be open to sharing how it’s been since being on Vortioxetine for 2 weeks? Thank you!

Unfortunately I’m still withdrawing from amitriptyline and have severe anxiety and insomnia. I’ve had to phone nhs 24. I’ll update when they kick in.
