Vortioxetine

I have tried Vortioxetine, but it didn't work for my OCD. Mirtazapine also failed. Only Duloxetine gave me relief for 5 months and then stopped working. Me and my wife are looking for a baby. What are my best options?

She is now on vortioxetine, but it seems to cause RLS more frequently, as she increased the dose as recommended by her neurologist. If anyone tried CBT or other counselling, would be great if you could share your experience. Thanks everyone!

Hello Everyone, I am taking vortioxetine from last 3 months and it does control but still I has fears. Does it going away on going basis ? Is there anything Can i do ? my depressions / Anxiety mostly because of parent's health.

God knows what people thought.so told Dr I can't carry on like that.so tomorrow I start 5mg a day of vortioxetine....let's hope I pick up a bit.

I just feel so down.maybe it's coming off citalopram after 20 + years.now on 5mg of vortioxetine.only been a week but guess it takes time to get into system.keep bursting into tears.even in the shop. I just feel so lonely and just realised I not spoke in 5 days.

I have just read a small Turkish study on the use of Vortioxetine for depression and anxiety in 7 RLS patients. It states that it helped the RLS patients and didn't worsen their RLS. For some reason, I can't copy the link on my phone.

He is suggesting a couple of drugs (Trazadone or Vortioxetine) which are anti-depressants that also have the side effects of lowering testosterone, but increasing libido.

Will give vortioxetine a go and see if that helps. Perhaps the above will help someone in a similar situation.

Like I take. 125mg Levo in morning. 10mg citalopram (now changing to vortioxetine for my anxiety and depression) 20mg Omeprazole ( I take this always after 4 hours from levo) 225mg pregablin at bed (for sleep and anxiety) And I have PRN of diazepam only a small dose of 2mg when needed.

Has anyone been on vortioxetine for social anxiety? Can't find alot of info online 😕

I’m aware Vortioxetine is also increases serotonin. I have had some slight sleep issues while on it. Has anyone taken it in the morning WITH the adhd stimulants? I would of thought this may be OTT and increase side effects.

My psychiatrist is considering putting me on vortioxetine for MDD(major depressive disorder) and I've googled it's ingredients and it apparently contains mannitol which I've had a problem with before in the Teva brand of Levothyroxine and it's ultimately my decision whether I go on them or not.

I’ve done a bit of reading and it can lead to negative effects outweighing the benefits. My psychiatrist has told me to take it in the evening though. I believe taking at the same time wouldn’t be good, particularly in the long run with serotonin syndrome a possibility. Keen to know if anyone else has

Over recent few years I have tried at different times: Sertralline, Citalapram, Mirtazapan, Duloxetine & currently taking Vortioxetine (10mg). Nothing so far has boosted my mood such that I notice amy positive effect. Do I persevere ? It feels pointless to be frank. Thanks.

Just started taking this new medication and feeling positive that this one is the one that I been looking for 🙏🏽🤞it has being a very long journey I must say 😩 wish me luck everyone 💪🏻

I was wondering if anyone has tried this antidepressant? It's a fairly new one and is not often prescribed. If so did it work for you? My GP has agreed to prescribe it.

I do intend to add 5mg of Vortioxetine (Brintellix) to my routine soon — probably once I’ve been on the 15mg of Lexapro for a full month. I have taken it for a very short period of time once: it gave an incredible boost of energy, but resulted in heightened anxiety and panic attacks as well.
