I know this seems a big issue at the moment but you will soon realise it is not the main tjing in life.

Everyone wishes they were different in some way.

You have said you are into music. This will be more interesting to others than you being 10cm taller.

You may grow ...who knows ?. But let your interest in music grow...use your experiences of not being as tall as you would like to be channelled into your music. This ultimatley will make you happier.

Being tall is no great thing ....you hit your head on doors and get a stiff neck constantly looking down.

I am in no way belittling how you feel....if it effects you then it is a real fear. But like I said channel it. We all have fears and worries and struggle to express them.....you have an outlet with music.

Oh and when you sell your second platinum album dont forget us on here.....a little memtion or concert tickets...just a thought.

Keep expressing .

Pax.

There you go theres always a role model. But dont be another Nicki Minaj......be the first YOU.

Trust me we are all good at something.......still trying to work out what mine is in my second life.

Try not to worry about depression (easier said than done I know). A lot of great people suffer depressions. Its only by living through the lows that we really appreciate the highs.

Hey sounds like a good song title that.....if its a hit I'll accept 5 0/0 of the royalties.

Remember keep smiling.........it really un nerves some people.....it makes them wonder what you know and they dont.

They would use a rack in Georgian times as a stretching tool, it was a tool to persuade those who had done wrong, the height would increase with pulling

My Wife is five foot four, good things come in small bungles.

Generally you could increase in height until your mid twenties.

Pensioners and older people, including me get smaller in height as we age because of the joints compressing. I was five ten, five eleven in my mid twenties,

You could try stretching arms and back although i personally feel you are what you are, I was told in my teens look upon your family and you will get a good idea how tall you are going to be

When I started dating my father used to say, look on the mother, that will give you a good idea what that girlfriend will look like in middle age, there seemed something in that activity.

Please do not worry you are what you are

Or look at the father and see how he looked in later life? x

Hello Bev

Yes I also agree, I have the looks of my Father without His attitude to life and irritations.

Before I walked away from my family my Mother said I was not the man my Father was when alive. She was/is a real Shrew

Thank God I now feel my own Man, My interests and life are quite different,

Hi if you are female then you often reach your full height around 16 but can still grow a bit If you are male then it is common to keep growing until the age of around 18 or so. That's what I have heard anyway, so there is plenty of time for you to grow some.

But I agree that what seems a big deal now won't look the same when you are older. The main thing in life is to do your own thing and make sure you follow your dreams. x

I'm 5'1 and a bit. many think it's cute :)

it's not height or weight that matter, it's the kind of person you are :)

Thanks I guess I need to learn to love myself

Yes, you are right you need to love who you are. There is a chance that you haven't finished growing yet, but it's the person you are on the inside and your life values that make you not your height. I coach archery and I tell everyone no matter what their height measurement is to stand tall and be proud of themselves. :-D If I could go back to when I was 16 I would be telling myself to be proud and confident of who I am and to think of all the exciting things I could do with my life.

Take care.

I blame the teacher not you. ;-) Most of my students do far better on their beginners course than I ever did when I first started. :-D
