How do I add photos to a post or a message?

Does anyone know how to do that?

Hello sue, you can only due it if you are making a new post. Type on "create post" then when it says to "add file" you have to find the file on your computer (I always put it on the desktop but you can get it from anywhere wherever it is stored) double click it; press "submit" for the post. You won't be able to see it i until you have submitted your post. (it will just show the file path until you submit it)

I don't think you can do it on a reply to a post though. Hope this helps. Gemma

I don't know about messages as I've never tried to attach a picture to a message on here but have a go and see what happens ;I don't think there is any facility on it if you are talking PM's? except possibly just to copy and paste something.

Thanks Gemma, I will try that later when I have the motivation - I'm feeling really bored today and that always makes me feel a bit low. I'd like to go to the sea, have car will travel, but my husband is tired and wants to stay home. I sometimes feel life is passing me by because of not having many friends or family...

I can't do that either. I can post links fine with right click etc. but when it comes to photos I have no 'cut' option so I click 'paste' . If you click on it the photo comes up but it doesn't come up like that in the message. I am on windows 8. Anyone know how to do that please? x

Hi Cough I am not on Windows 8 but are you trying to post up a photo which you already have on your computer or an image that you have seen on a website? Some images are copyright protected which means you can't copy them which is why the "cut" or the "copy" option would not come up with them. But if it is a photo on your computer you just search for the photo make sure you have the right file (I always put them on the desktop first so they are easier to find but you don't have to ) and then submit the post. Hope this is helpful but maybe Windows 8 is different from this.

Hi Gemma, I have tried to get avatars from sites which allow it and which others use so it can't be that. Windows 8 has something called 'acer cloud' I think it is something to do with posting avatars etc. but don't know how it works. Is there anyone on windows 8 out there who can advise me please? x

I've tried five times to download a photo file from my computer - right size, right format (j.peg) , right place, and all that happens is it asks if I want to download the photo FROM health unlocked! I'm sure that can't be right but will try again just in case it is.

Can you not use HTML tags on here? Why not just post the link to it?

On normal forums you would use the [IMG] tag to make the picture display on the forum.

For example...

[IMG]iiacanadanationalconference...]

Nope, the admins need to enable this option.
