So for a year now apparently I have had bile acid malsorption and still ongoing ,then April I had gallbladder laprascopic removal which brought alot of issues including now having diabetes 2 and fatty liver disease all my liver function tests are 4 times higher than normal and with my acid bile tablets having contispation problems anyone else been through similar and offer advice to what they think is going on all my consultant and doctors have said is mri first then possible liver biopsy

An MRI is a sensible way forward as a first step to see what is going on in your liver. It should pick up many things. The biopsy will, in particular, determine whether there is any fibrosis in your liver. I hope they both go well for you.

Thanks everything not looking good as even my doctor reckons mri will be clear but something still causing my liver functions to be abnormal this has been over a year now
