Hey folks I posted on here a while back, I had a circumcision on 23/12/17. I had a RAW gland (bell end) afterwards. I since found out I had a condition BXO or similar which happens in approx 1 in 1000 cases where my foreskin was severely attached and difficult to remove.
The healing process is still slow and about half of my gland is still raw and red. I’ve been told I will need a biopsy of this now. More day surgery!!! Can anyone share any similar stories/experiences as I am kinda worried about this after what was supposed to be merely day surgery. Cheers

Hi mate I had exactly the same issue. They took a test of the removed foreskin after the op and I'm now like 9 weeks post op and the scab just fell off earlier this week. Pm me and I will send before/after pics. Felt like it was never gonna get better then all of a sudden it just started to scab over. My key I think was cutting out baths and just sticking to quick showers.
Had the same issue. Bxo had caused my bell end to stick/fuse to my forskin. This was mostly on one side.
The side that had the more extreme fusing is still sensitive a year on. The other side has healed well and is ok.
It did take 3-4 months until it looked visibly normal. Until they point i still had scabs and raw areas.
Vasaline is your freind. Keep it applying it multiple times per day. Itll help smooth the whole area, keep it protected and stop it drying out. Especially the areas where the bxo is thats now raw flesh where your forskin was hacked off (or thats how mine felt).
I had the same condition. Now I am 8 weeks into recovery. But I have a lump where frenulum was. It sometimes has a liquid thing oozing out. One of these days I will go to see a doctor for this. Did you guys face similar issues?
I was off my work for nearly 5 months mate. Had a shocking experience. As for the liquid oozing out you had better see a doctor to check for any infection
It wasnt cancerous, was it? I am really worried that the doc might make me go through another biopsy and then another surgery. I have booked an appointment though. Lets see.
