No sperm

Right,

Ive had issues in the past with the area down below as you may of seen my posts in the past, me and my Newley wedded wife have been trying for children for 3 years now, we’ve had 2 misscarraiges, and we’ve gone through the infertility route, ive had my sperm tested twice and both accounts have come back with 0 completely nothing 😭 they say it’s either 2 things, number 1 there is a blockage somewhere which is stopping the sperm, I can still ejaculate but I just don’t have the sperm cell, which they can maybe unblock or number 2 it’s to do with my recurrent health problems in the past I.e my pre cancer cells I had on my forsekin which was excised during circumsision, if it’s to do with health issues I’ve now been told there’s no way of getting my wife physically pregnant and will have to go down the sperm doner route, this is a big shock to me and my mental health has hit rock bottom and I’m undecided on what to do… any advice or any one in the same situation or have been? As in had a sperm doner ? 😭 any help much appreciated

Sorry no real practical advice for you, but do seek medical advise and second opinions if need be. But needing a sperm donor is not the end of the world, it will still be YOUR child if you bring them up as their father.Good luck

How we react to a situation like this is very complicated and you cannot compare. However I do know people who have adopted young children and as far as they where concerned that child was theirs. And for one friend who was adopted he was approached by his birth mother later in life. He wanted to get to know her but was clear that his Mum and Dad where the ones who brought him up.I have heard of varicocele but know little about it I'm afraid. I do know treatments are available but no nothing of success rates.

You say 'maybe they can unblock' so I'd say don't despair yet. Push as much as possible for that to be further explored. However, no doubt your wife's biological clock is ticking so I do understand your anguish. If you are producing spermatazoa that aren't reaching your ejaculate, I believe there are ways the cells can be extracted for IVF called Intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI). I know a couple who have one daughter who was the product of IVF where this was offered but it took several attempts.

I will try anything for us to end up having a baby mate honestly anything, I did look up a varicocele ? I think I may have that have you heard of that?

I don't know much about varicocele but didn't think it should cause infertility.

Apparently it does ? And quite a common factor ?

After googling varicocele I've learned that Varicocele can be treated and may improve sperm production. Are you having investigations into this?

Well I’ve got my uroglist appointment on the 22nd November I was going to mention about varicocle to him? And then see what he says? As it could be something other than that …

Let us know how the urologist consult goes. Seems to me you need a lot of moral support.
