About to go for my op next Monday. I have what you could probably call a severe case of Phimosis. Took it years ago, tried stretching but it was always a case of 2 steps forward and 3 back with the skin eventually cracking and then infection setting in. Backed out of circumcision at the time due to doubts. My foreskin will not retract at all and going to the toilet standing up is always difficult. In the recent year I've been taking the red rash, unsure of name, and itchiness behind. Cleaning is very difficult and sex is also with the skin cracking during. With people with a similar issue that went for the op do you feel it has been worthwhile? Any regrets?

Your case sounds identical to mine. I suffered for years as wouldn't go to Doctors due to embarrassmention.
Mine used to split and bleed after sex and used to continuously get thrush, which I'm assuming us what your red itchy rash is.

I had my op 6 months ago now and all is amazing. Looks and feels great and sex is more frequent and feels better than ever!

The only regret I have is that I have not done it sooner and waited so long to get it done. Good luck.
Thanks everyone for the replies. The cracking is down to the tightness of the foreskin, plus I've dry skin which has never helped. Intercourse basically involves it splitting and then waiting at least a week to heal and then repeat.
Cracking is caused by a yeast infection. Cure that and stretching will work.
That's me done and dusted. Sitting in recovery. Had the snip as well at the same time to get that out of the way A well. Now the long road to recovery.
Day one and no notable pain at all.
Night erections are going to be the biggest issue. Not necessarily overly painful just a wake up call and realisation I have a wound down there.
Actually having bigger issues with the 2 small incisions from getting the snip. One is regularly bleeding while the other is badly bruised. Have an appointment with the doctors nurse on Thursday to get everything checked up.
