I have a swallow ring between the stiches and the head and it is just on the left side... I had the surgery 3 weeks ago and slowly the swallow ring is getting flat but it is still there and looks not appealing at all..
My concern is if the flat skin will be there which will make my pennies look weird and with extra skin only on the left side...
I would appreciate your feedback if you have been been through it and if your Penni’s now is completely without the extra skin that was before the swallow ring...
Thanks

I had mine about 5 days ago and I was just wondering, how is the sensitivity with your glans? When did your glans start to keratinize/not become too sensitive? And are those stitches that I still see in or am i mistaken?
I took that picture just 48 hours after the surgery.... now it looks almost completely healed except the swallow ring that you see in the picture... the stitches are all dissolved...
In terms of sensitive,, I had no pain and I didn’t even took the pain killer that was prescribed..... After the second week, I would say I was feeling confortable to walk with little sensitivity...
I'm 9 days post op right now. To me it only started improving after day 7 where skin started to get flakey and peeling off like you've had a sun burn. But then it also went really fast. I couldn't imagine having this little discomfort just two days ago.
When did the swelling start to go down significantly? I am at day 5 and it looks like the swelling on the outside foreskin is as the same as day 2 when initial bandage was taken off. I guess the ring part did subside in swelling just a little over the past 2 days. What about you?
I'm not as lucky as the guy posting the picture. Right now I have a slight swelling at the top of the shaft on the outer foreskin like a ring around the penis - I've read it's a blood cloth and that it can take months for the body to get rid of. My stitches are also swollen, not as evenly swollen as you, it's basically just swollen right where the stitches are, so it's all very bumpy around the scarline and annoying when wearing underwear.
I was also unlucky to pick up an infection on day 4. Had antibiotics prescribed, should take them for 5 days but only did 1 day because I got so many stomach cramps. Luckily it seems to have been enough to get rid of it. No foul smell anymore.
My healing is fast though, I've already lost 3 stitches. Only one of them were bleeding slightly when it fell off maybe 1 drop of blood total.
What were the signs of your infection? I am not sure if I have an infection. There is no foul smell but there is discoloration of the wound, but I think it is just lymph fluid that is stuck to the stitches. Also, how did you manage to get rid of the 3 stitches? Did they just fall out cause right now, a few of the stitches are starting to get loose and they hurt so bad when they move in my underwear...
im exactly through the same issue and you can check my posts out. But trust me every doctor i met told me that its gonna settle down and subside but i had surgery done 4.5 months ago already and it is exactly like it was when i first saw it. and im worried bout it too because it annoys me to think about it. dont blame doctors they have nothing to do with it, its some kind of organic reaction to some chemical or soft tissue thing or something. by the way your penis looks sexy you have a very good one, and even if this bumpy ring wont settle down, girls gonna like it, and as i ve been told and i also can tell you that it gives us more of a personality.
My doctor said it will go away and might even take 6 months but it is not something I would like to live with though, I will be patient and wait and hopefully I won’t have to do any more procedure to remove it...
exactly like it was 3 years ago. everythings subsided a little bit the scarline the stiches marks. but that motherfuckin bump is still there. like a bruised blook clot on the left of the scarline 0.5 mm in height and 1.2mm in widht
The swelling is nothing to be worried about. It's just lymphatic fluid. It's a part of the healing process. It gradually subsides and after a few weeks it's completely gone. It gonna look great afterwards.
The body carries this off. But in some cases can this take a half a year (in the worst case). To speed up the process, it is best to put your penis upwards in your undies.
It’s really surprising that the surgeon left you alone to figure this out. Seems quite irresponsible.
The swelling is just internal body fluids which are responding to the trauma suffered from the operation. It could take several weeks for all swelling to disappear, but the bulk should be gone by six weeks. The tissue most affected is mucosa, not skin, and it is highly susceptible to swelling, so it’s nothing unusual or abnormal. Mucosa is the tissue of internal surfaces such as the mouth, nose, rectum. What was internal on your penis is now external and will undergo changes in appearance, texture and color as time passes.
You could try some intermittent ice packs to relieve some of the swelling.
Tomorrow will complete 3 weeks and the stitches are all dissolved but the swallow ring is still there... Timmy recommended to keep the penis upward under the underwear to heal it faster ..... Even if the penis is not swallow and only that specific part is. Should I still keeping ice on it???
By the way, I updated my penis picture so you know how it looks like now..
I agree with Timmy’s suggestion to keep penis upward. Briefs should help too. Use ice packs just when and where the swelling is located. Try 15-20 min on and 15-20 min off to prevent damage from the cold. Understand?
I'm 4 weeks and some change in to my recovery. I had a bit of swelling that looked similar to that around the head. It just started to go down and looks like what you think it should look like if that makes sense. The very last of the scabbing on the bottom from where I had the frenulum removed is about to be all healed. I'd say give it another week or 2 and it should be the results you are looking for. Just from my experience
