Excess skin under my penis after circumcision—to remove or not?

I was thinking of have my penis re-circumcised due to the excess skin I'm having just underneath the shaft which is connected to the frenulum. It's a flap of skin which makes my dick look like it has a beard or a cobra with its hood.

I've made an appointment with my doctor and apparently he told me that it was perfectly normal (I still think its weird since it's not like those what I see in porn) since the kind of circumcision I had previously was a dorsal cut wherein the foreskin was slit so that the penis head would be exposed and was sutured on the sides instead of being removed. He also told me it had its advantages since the extra skin would provide me and women with more pleasure during sex. He offered to remove the extra skin under my consent but told me the erection that would follow might be painful since the extra skin provides allowance.

Now, I did some research and found out that the cut I wanted was a german cut where the removal of foreskin was present and had a much more tight and cleaner look to it. But then here's the dilemma; should I (a.) go for the german cut and remove the foreskin completely but give up the extra pleasure I get during intercourse—not to mention the risk of painful erections—or (b.) stick with what I've got?

What do you guys think? Anyone with the same problem? I'm 21 btw

Leave it be, I think if it still covers the glands a bit is good. You may regret later if you get a tight cut as I have heard that ed can be a problem with most cut men. I too have extra skin but when erect is looks perfectly fine.

The skin doesn't cover the glans a bit but rather it hangs underneath it. When I get an erection the skin stretches a but it doesn't have a smooth look on the under side like most caucasian dudes have. Did you have a dorsal cut as well?

It is still a circumcision.

Leave it be, I have the dorsal slit too. It'll flattened when fully recovered.

The problem is that it already recovered a few years back and I don't like the extra skin that hangs. I'm opting for a much cleaner cut so I'm considering a HIGH & LOOSE type of circumcision.

Your choice or get the pleasure and not undergo circ anymore.

Also do you experience itching on the excess skin? Which i have :/

I'm betting a lot of women would be weirded out by the extra skin anyways so might as well get it cut. I'm telling the surgeon to keep the frenulum intact though since it's one of the parts with most sensibility.

As for the itching, no I haven't experienced any except for when I had my recovery period. After that there were no itchy sensations whatsoever.

No, lol. It's gonna be flattened and wont be visible.

I’m partially here to talk about a similar problem though I’ve decided to get my issue fixed. Maybe this might give you some reflections, maybe not. So I have a circumcised from baby (don’t know about dorsal or slits?) and the Doctor must’ve needed new glasses. There’s like a bridge of skin from glans to shaft. Flaccid it’s 5mm wide and 7mm long. When hard, the (skin) stretches taut and has gotten that tight that 2 tiny tears have appeared. I’ve always hated its appearance and seen 2 others only with this issue. It’s so thin now I feel like cutting myself but dangerous. My advice to us as males? I believe it’s psychologically healthier to feel as close to normal as the rest of men. So cut away. I’m so tired in my life of explaining it away first so as to give partners a chance to run which is unhealthy I think, as we need to feel confident. The pleasure comes from just feeling psychologically confident. In your case I’m sure your penis is normal (sensation) for you no matter what. Just research first, make a decision where you’re not doubting it at all. I’m 46. Wished I’d done it at yr age.

Definitely don’t cut the skin off. I am restoring because my infant circumcision left me with painful erections.

Dude we have the exact same concern right here! I literally have the same dorsal slit and the beard thing as yours but I think you shouldn't get re-circumcised since it is said that you might suffer but it's definitely up to you because I'm also here and you're not alone. To me, I want my future partner to get satisfied even if my shaft looks weird rather than experience pain when giving her pleasure :)
