Hi,got circumcised a month ago,just getting over an infection from a week ago,which I spent 4 days in hospital for on antibiotics,course finished now,looked at penis today and swelling around top of penis,very sore and the pain is so bad I could pass out.taking painkillers and they are doing nothing.cant walk,touch it anything.what should I do. paul

If the pain is so bad you can't walk I'd call your doctors or the nhs non-emergency helpline. If the swelling is more than minor, or if there is discharge, call 999. It could be another infection or your previous one was resistant.

thanks for getting back to me,sorry for late reply.been in hospital since I posted with infection,on antibiotics through IV, painkillers for 6 months,still in pain ,and will still not healing, its going to be a long road.

This is a very sensitive area at the best of times if you feel the pain is so severe you could pass out, as JPW suggests call either NHS direct or if you have contact try the Hospital that carried out the procedure.

I would suggest a house call from your GP asap you cant walk and you are just out of hospital
