Yes. It's most likely an std and an antibiotic should sort it.

It's best to go to a gum clinic to get all the appropriate tests done. Your gp may not be able to get all the tests.

The other thing is if you go to gum clinic it won't go on your gp records and this could be helpful for you

The likely cause is chlamydia or gonorrhoea if you have had sexual contact and it's important to get diagnosed properly and for contact tracing to be done
