When will I stop being scared of an erection?

I’m curious about the different experiences people might have had, post circumcision, getting to that point where they’re no longer scared of an erection.I’m about two weeks after the surgery, and ever since, erections at night wake me up in pain. They pain had started out as unbearable - and I was on stronger pain medication for a while. The pain had been in the area of swelling, which was like an elastic band around me below the stitches. That swelling has eased up (but def not gone) and now the pain is at the sight of the stitches, but not necessarily the same one each time.

Because of the need to have the surgery, it had already been some time since I had had an erection without angst. I know that experiences will vary. I guess I’m looking for a light at the end of the tunnel, because otherwise, it just dark.

Hi, hang in there, I was getting erections and it was unbearable as well, I am 3 weeks post circ. and I do get erections that wake me but as soon as it subsides, the very slight pain will go. I am just happy I can get an erection after the trauma of my circ.

the erection pain for me eased after around 2 weeks, after which I perhaps unwisely started experimenting with encouraging erections during the day - mainly to test but also cos I was super horny. I'm now at 5 weeks today and don't get any discomfort at all - altho sometimes if it's a ROCK hard one it will feel like there's a tight elastic band around the wound line - not terribly comfortable. That's why I think I'm not ready to actually ejaculate yet.

It was around my 2 1/2 three week mark. The sensation of tugging wasn’t bad and you start to get used to the feeling down there again I’m currently on my three month mark now stitches fully healed an closed.

Just over three weeks for me. I'm in my 7th week now and whilst they feel different to how they used to they're not painful and I'm back to being sexually active. Stick with it, you'll get there

I wrapped my penis in gauze and a non adhesive bandage at night inside my underwear. I found that rubbing of the incision against my pajamas caused the pain, not the erection which I had from day 1. You may want to try that: just not to tight.
