I am in my late thirties and never had any issues with erections and ED till about a year ago when everything changed.
As other men would know, ive been accustomed to having regular erections before and after sex . Whenever going to pee my penis wold be hard in terms of strength. Would always have difficulty aiming the urine, basically a perfectly healthy man .
Now its the complete opposite and i dont understand why. I can still get an erection and orgasm but its on a much weaker scale, everytime i go to the toilet my penis is limp, i can urinate but anatomy wise there has been a complete 360. It’s also gotten smaller … My urologist thinks its pelvic floor dysfunction but i can still control my pee and do number 2s as normal.
Has anyone else gone through something like this and will it go back to normal?!?

I only asked as some people have reported similar issues following use of some anti-depressant medications - a condition named PSSD. I was not saying that your symptoms were in your head!!!
Has your urologist suggested any form of treatment?
This forum is generally only to happy to share its views on issues they know something about. I guess yours is a problem that people have no experience of. Perhaps some targeted Google searching might come up with suitable forum.
Oops - I just re-read you, & saw that you’re in your late thirties.
My point remains, with this word of encouragement:
You can - and you will - have erections and orgasms well into your 80’s! (My ejaculatory powers vanished decades ago, when my prostate was removed - but I had an orgasm just t’other day!) If this doesn’t encourage you, I don’t know what will!
NHS … great we have it for emergencies but god forbid you need it for a knee replacement or something like this that they don’t deem to be life threatening…
The nhs have been decent for me in general but what ive realised in the last couple of years is their quite reluctant to look into penile issues and get to the root of the problem with further investigation.
Have you had your general circulatory blood system checked? Sometimes your symptoms are an early sign of heart or circulatory issues. Meanwhile Tadalafil helped me a lot when my erections were weak. I think it helps firm up and make erections last and that in itself improves blood flow (and of course confidence, if there is any psychological element). By the way, foreskin tightness isn't usually anything to do with erection issues and since the foreskin is so helpful for sensitivity, pleasure and stimulus, I'd be reluctant to go for circumcision unless there really is an issue affecting function. Using coconut oil dailyx2 often helps, especially if you masturbate (not necessarily to full climax) after applying it every couple of days to encourage the skin to stay supple and to gradually stretch.
I've put off circumcision for nearly 2 years in the hope things get better but no improvement. I still have ED type symptoms, penile shortening, dysuria ans get recurrent infections because of phimosis. 3 different urologists have told me i need to get the snip so ive decided to do it. I know there are like 20000 nerve endings in the foreskin and in dreading losing it as it never caused me an issue for nearly 30 years up untill had a rigid cystoscopy where the urologist didnt examine before the procedure and pulled back my foreskin when i was asleep with GA. First time in my life it got pulled back, after i woke up from the procedure things have not been the same since…
I was offered Tadalafil but didnt take it as i was worried about side effects, cant be many people in their mid thirties taking that..? so left it
I know it absolutely sucks, was overweight my whole life. Lost 10 stone 4 years ago , my sexual health was 1000% great and ready to find happiness and start a family in my early 40s then this happens.
No erections, penile shortening, , ED , infections. No idea whats happening to me, absolutely sucks.
Im mentally strong so its not affected me yet but am worried what will happen after the circumcision. It feels like penis has gone through enough trauma as it is!
My short-lived experience of ED was related to meds I started to take for depression. Not to sound rude, but ED made me feel worse than the depression I was feeling so I stopped and so did the ED. It tells me this might just be in your head and related to a chemical imbalance. Either find joy in your life to possibly do it naturally, or maybe a medication to balance you which would mean some trial and error testing of different meds. Not a doctor, just thinking through this logically from my experience. I never had issues with erections. Start a month of meds and can't get one for 2hrs. Decide to stop meds and my sex drive was back to normal. Good luck
I get no side effects from Tadalafil . Cialis, It was originally prescribed for ED by my urologist. Now it is available over the counter I only use it very occasionally. It's worth trying ayt least once to see if it helps. Again - how's your circulatory system?
I'm generally against circumcision, but in your position, I'd go ahead, especially if 3 different urologists have recommended it. My usual approach is that if it ain't broke, don't fix it, but you're not happy as things are, and there are plenty of men circumcised as adults who wish they'd done it sooner (though there are also plenty who wish they hadn't had it done at all).
If you were offered Tadalafil (Cialis) orSildenafil (Viagra), then I'd definitely give those a try first if I were you. Most people don't have a problem with the side effects.
I'd be very angry about someone retracting my foreskin without consent under GA btw, and would consider legal action.
I just had one and although, not much was trimmed, it was painless. No meds given. T3s if needed. I drove home. 30-mins to do. Hour total of your time. I feel a lot lighter now too 2 days later, lots of swelling foreskin (for me who only had a little removed). No pain and stiches look clean. I'd describe it like a cut on your forearm that was stitched up. Concerns I have is BXO can return. I'm not sure yet how the dr did the procedure as far the cutting he did. I didn't want to look while it was happening or when he told me too lol. Not an image I wanted to have I guess. I can only wait to see if the BXO will return or not. I fear already that I might need it done again but with my instruction as to how to do it. Sounds dumb but when asked about cutting the skin away, I said I want to keep as much as possible, but was trying to explain where I felt the skin was healthy and where i feel it isn't. My dr didn't spend months observing my cock like i did and when he did look, he already put the iodine on so it was all brown. My point here is, have a discussion on what you want before you have it done. 1 dr always does the ZRD tool that gives a full circumcision. My doctor said he could just cut the impacted skin out so I'm able to keep the rest of my foreskin. The benefit I have is only that if it fails, I could redo it. It makes you squirm a bit, but it didn't hurt with the exception of my head getting burnt
No idea, but just wondering, have you started any medications near the time you noticed ED? Any difference in mood prior to this happening? I ask because I basically had ED after taking meds for a month. That lead to my BXO in a roundabout way. Stopped the meds since it was all that changed and my erection was back to normal. I like to JO 2-3x a day lol so I know it was working fine and i read on the line, that this med could cause issues with sexual desire and also impact my immune system (BXO possibly immune related). Anyhow, just some extra things to consider. I see others mentioned meds too.
