so it’s been just over 3 weeks since I was circumcised and I was wondering when everyone stopped wearing bandages completely post surgery? My healing process has been pretty okay mostly with a few hiccups here and there but things are starting to come together now. All my stitches have fallen out by now and my main issue now is sensitivity of the glans, but I’m positive that it will decrease over time. I only really wear bandages to decrease the sensitivity and discomfort at this point but any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated!

My bandage was removed the next day itself as the op area dried off since then i haven't bandaged it. I advice let it open.. Keep it clean and apply petroleum jelly and take meds time to time.. Let it open it gonna hurt but the more you leave it open.. The quicker it heals
Actually moist wound healing is much quicker than letting a wound dry out. Keeping it coated in vaseline and changing the bandage regularly is much better. You can Google it to research it. But if you are already mostly healed and the stitches are gone then I would let it dry out and be exposed. At some point you have to get used to it until the sensitivity goes away.
I took my bandage off at day 3 and then kept it wrapped with melolin for maybe another 3 days during the day and maybe a week at night. but then let it loose.
Firstly in a soft dressing gown, then loose PJs. On day 21 now and 95% fine. Only a little sensitive where the stitches and scabs are falling off.
My gland did dry out a lot and went a little peely for a while. but is smoothing out now.
