Mycophenolate - sore throat
Kelbol1 - Please don’t stop your medication without talking to your doctor. Active lupus could be a bigger risk factor in infection complications than being on one medication.
Do you have a fever? Cough?
Don’t hesitate to call your GP or rheumatologist. Many are probably at their computers and ready to video conference with people just like you.
Take care.

Fever? Cough? Kay I was wondering the same thing. Hard not to right now. We just had two deputy sheriff’s die in the last few days in my county. Both stationed at the jail in my city where 11 inmates have tested positive, and 25 deputies. So sad☹️
So sad. Yes, everyone has to be on alert for symptoms, right?
No fever - hoping it’s stays as just throat. I am in the UK people we knows family critical some have died it’s just awful not looking it’s going to go away anytime soon 😢
🙏best of luck.
Again, I saw something about police officers in NYC being at great risk as quite a few had tested positive and thought of you.
Keep safe. Hope you have enough room to go into full shielding mode if required.
Thank you. So thoughtful for you to think of me. I appreciate it. 🙏
No fever just really inflamed throat - thank you if no better tom will get in touch x
Please contact the rheumatology service for advice if you can’t use the helpline or GP service. As a patient on MMF you are classed as vulnerable. Don’t stop taking it until you seek advice. You need a medical review. Keep safe!
If it's just a sore throat then don't do anything. I would give it a few days. If it stays the same then just use throat lozenges and drink plenty.
If you get a fever and cough, then you need to speak to your GP or rheumatology helpline about whether to alter your medications. Don't call NHS24 unless you have breathing difficulties x
