Hi there does anyone suffer from really bad thrush? I seem to be so sore inside all the time tht I can't let my husband near me as it feels like my insides are too painful and it really hurts so bad to be intimate it's really making me sad. I've tried everything and the thrush clears up for a while but I'm still so sore inside that I can't let my husband near me. I'm on hydroxy and methotrexate

I rinse my mouth with a small swig of hydrogen peroxide once at night and warm salty water throughout the day. Gets rid of it quick.

Do you mean female bit? I'm afraid it can be caused through dryness and that can be very sore during certain times.

If you have SS or any of the AIs that can cause dryness anywhere and not just the skin talk to your doctor and/or Rheumy.

It's embarrassing having a problem in bits we keep covered up and don't talk about I know but do let your doctor know so they can help you and you can let hubby close again.

Yes unfortunately it is those bits and I'm at my wits end I will be speaking to my rheumy about it hoping there can be a solution.. Thank you for replying

For years doctors treated me for thrush until finally one doctor correctly diagnosed it as dryness caused by Sjögren’s syndrome. As someone else has suggested go back to your doctor and ask if that could be the problem. Then there are pessaries, lubricants etc which make a huge difference.

Thank you I definitely think it could be caused by something like this. I will be going back to the doctors
