Today is one of those days where you just don’t feel right. I’m not sure what is going on. For one thing just took my blood pressure it is 178/126. However I do have malignant hypertension, and medication will not control it. My BP may be normal one day and extremely high the next. Doctors say the Lupus causes it? Sometimes I think doctors use lupus as an excuse to not look any further for medical issues?
Then cancer on top of that, I suppose I have a reason not to feel very well today?
Wishing Everyone A Good Day!

Dear Tiras, I am so sorry you feel so unwell, you do have such a lot to deal with. I think how you are in your picture, is absolutely the order of the day, i.e. resting. Feel better soon, and take care.
I am sorry to hear that you are not feeling well, I do hope you feel better very soon!
According to The Lupus Encyclopedia, "People who have SLE are at increased risk of developing hypertension (high blood pressure) due to the use of steroids, becoming obese, and the development of lupus nephritis (which can also increase blood pressure)".
Regular exercise combined with a proper diet can help lower blood pressure in people who have hypertension. For example, people who have hypertension should generally decrease their intake of sodium (salt) and avoid caffeine. We published a blog article on lupus and exercise which includes a 15-minute lupus-friendly workout which you can do at home lupusuk.org.uk/lupus-and-ex...
