Gluten free grain free apple 🍏 chia seed and sultana crumble with quinoa and flaxseed topping,

Hello everyone, here's a crumble I made yesterday with 1/3 quinoa flour, 1/3 ground flaxseed and 1/3 gf plain flour.

The texture of this crumble reminds me of something wholesome that I used to eat before being diagnosed with coeliac.

I put some chia seeds in with the apples and sultanas and because chia seeds absorb 10x their volume in moisture the fruit is like a compote.

When you make a crumble you want flour, fat and sugar and you use Half fat to flour and half sugar to fat.

4 med Bramley apples, 25g chia seeds, 100g sultanas and 1 heaped tea spoon cinnamon (sweetened to taste)

For the topping:

I used 150g flour

75g butter

35g brown sugar

Whiz all ingredients up thoroughly and spread on top of the fruit.

I have had 2 portions one with live yoghurt and one with single cream...🍎
