This is what I had tonight for dinner with a low carb. Greek Peach yogurt. It had 30 carbs. and 22 grams of protein in the chicken souvlaki. The entire meal was delicious and had 35 total carbs. for the meal.

Hi Activity2004 your dinner looks tasty ๐ Would you share the recipe please? I went out for dinner last night, so I'll share my meal from the day before. It's pork sausage and veggie omlette. I used chilli oil, paprika and roasted garlic to give some heat, and served it with salad and a homemade dressing of Greek yogurt and lemon juice

Haha thank-you and no, my youngest helped me polish it off ๐I don't eat poultry but love quinoa. In chicken recipes, I tend to sub with tofu, mushrooms or paneer depending on the flavours..

Can I ask when you added the yogurt. I as well as following Low carb am dairy free but do use the dairy free yogurt but never thought to cook with them and that meal looks amazing although I think will have to change out quinoa as am also gluten free ( medical not fad reasons) and as only was changed to these dietary restrictions last year am still not sure what and what cannot be eaten so when I find something that looks tasty I try to recreate it with what I can eat. So back to original ? When do you add the yogurt, is it last min as you would with cream? Thanks

The yogurt is eaten on the side as a dessert. The entire meal is gluten free and is low carb. high protein.

Oh great never knew Quinoa was gluten free as I love it but not had it since told no gluten and had none in then and never though to check when shopping. Definitely going on my shopping list tomorrow and hopefully have this tomorrow night. Thanks
