hi everyone. anyone that has been following my story. I have problems with talking to people I don't know. I have ptsd and panic attacks. the panic attacks can trigger angina.I managed to get pip and I have now been put on universal credit in the lcwra group. i was on income related esa and went on to UC. I ended up in hospital with chest pain and they said I had had a artery spasm because of the stress.

I got a letter today saying I am on contribution based esa which is beening replaced by new esa. they said I would need to prove my illness and have a face to face interview.

this is what put me in hospital.

I don't think that the esa contribution based will give me any extra money and will not effect my other benefits. so I was thinking of writing to them and telling them my situation.

am I right in thinking that if I cancel the contribution based esa it will not effect my benefits?

if any one has any ideas that would be great. thanks everyone.

Hi Spedyrecovry50,

Can someone ring the ESA number for you for clarification? I wouldn't cancel anything without checking.

They make it so complicated. I moved across from the one year ESA work related group to UC, LCW group, so all different to yours, as ESA ended.

As long as you are getting what you are entitled to!
